This page explains how to delete your account in Kerf: Construction Calculator ("Kerf"), the construction calculator app by Pixoby for iPhone and Android, and what happens to your data.
Kerf works without an account. You only have one if you chose to sign in with Apple or Google, which carries Kerf Pro between your phones.
Delete your account in the App
- Open Kerf and tap Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The account is deleted right away. Delete account only shows while you are signed in.
Delete your account by email
If you no longer have the App, email info@pixoby.space from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Kerf account". If you used Hide My Email with Apple, write from the address that relay forwards to and tell us which Apple ID you used. We confirm and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account record on our server: the account id, your email address and the link to your Apple or Google sign-in.
- The server copy of your Kerf Pro purchase record.
- Kerf's access to your Sign in with Apple account, which we revoke with Apple.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your Jobs, estimates, notes and photos were never on our server. They stay on your phone until you delete them or the App.
- Your purchase stays with Apple or Google, as their receipt. RevenueCat, which processes purchases for us, keeps its purchase record for tax and accounting. Pro bought on a phone comes back on that phone with Restore Purchases. Deleting the account does not refund a purchase; refunds go through the store you bought from.
- Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase Analytics, GlitchTip) are not linked to your email. They are kept for the retention period set in those services, at most 14 months, and then deleted.
